Music teacher Nathan Westlund has been working with all MKC kindergarteners to learn to play the ukulele. There are currently only five ukuleles, and we would like to have enough ukuleles so that each student has their own during music class. The school also plans to offer a Ukulele Club soon where adult volunteers will help the children learn to play the ukulele.
If fully funded, The Ukulele Project will provide 20 ukuleles for our kindergarteners. And any donations over $50 made by Friday, April 28, will be matched if you enter the promo code LIFTOFF!
