Parenting program offered at MKC

MKC is hosting a series of free parenting classes that promote secure parent-child relationships. They will be held weekly from 6 to 8 p.m. on January 9, 16, 23 and 30 at the school. Snacks and child care are provided for children who are toilet-trained.

The Circle of Security Parenting program is based on decades of research and will be taught by Tamara Milliken, a family educator with Hutton Settlement Children’s Home. Parents, guardians and caregivers are all invited to learn how to enhance your child’s self-esteem, help your child successfully manage emotions and further understand your child’s emotional world.

Participants are requested to RSVP to the school at 922-5469. Please see the flyer in your child’s Friday Folder or visit www.circleofsecurityinternational.com for more details.
